Mark D. Gagné is the managing partner and co-founder of Decagon Partners. Mr. Gagné is the author of "The Decagon Theory" from which the company's name and approach to accelerating and maximizing shareholder value are derived. Mr. Gagné is a seasoned executive with over 20 years professional experience with 15 years as a C-level executive driving the profitability and growth of both public and private companies in a broad range of industries including: software, internet and database technologies, direct marketing, hospitality, services and construction.

  • EVP, COO and CFO of Clarus Corporation, directed all operations of this provider of a suite of B2B e-commerce software solutions including procurement, market making, settlement, complex auctions and dynamic pricing, wireless applications and enterprise application integration growing revenues from $10 million to $49 million
  • CFO, CAO and Treasurer of Bridgestreet Accommodations, managed all facets of company operations successfully growing sales from $35 million to in excess of $125 million.

Mr. Gagne was also Chief Financial Officer of The Trodella Companies, a $35 million private holding company comprising three construction services companies. Mr. Gagne worked for two CPA firms, including Arthur Andersen, and is a CPA. He has a BS with Honors in Accounting from the University of Vermont.
